Dogs are welcome in NSW State forests!
For many people, taking their dog on a holiday or out in the bush can be quite a challenge.
But did you know that your canine best friend is welcome in State forests across NSW?
But just remember, State forests are public spaces so your dog must be under your control at all times.
From time to time, baiting to control foxes and wild dogs may be taking place, so always check for warning signs and keep a close eye on your pet.
Always pick up after your dog and ensure you pack enough food and water for your dog on long forest trips.
And lastly, many State forests are adjacent to National Parks, where dogs are prohibited. So make sure you are aware to stay within a State forest while holidaying with your dog.
Enjoy your visit!
