Parts of Chichester State Forest are closed for all visitors until further notice due to damage and various hazards including landslips following recent flooding events.

Allyn River Visitor Sites

The Allyn River visitor sites are only accessible via the Allyn River Road. Bridge failures and the closure of Williams Tops Rd due to landslips means there is no through access from these sites until repairs and make-safe works are complete.

Dobie Rim Campground

Gunya Hut Campground

Ladies Well Day Use Area

Old Camp Camping and Day Use Area

Pademelon Campground

White Rock Campground

Visitor Sites CLOSED:

Peach Tree Picnic Area

Telegherry River Visitor Sites

There is currently NO access to Chichester State Forest via Skimmings Gap Rd, Main Creek Rd, Frying Pan Rd, Middle Ridge Rd or Wangat Rd. There is currently access to Jerusalem Creek Picnic Area (National Parks NSW) via Wangat Trig Rd, however Chichester State Forest is closed beyond this point.
