There has been a bridge failure just west of Gunyah camping area. The bridge is unsafe and the road to Mount Allyn is now closed.

There is no safe vehicle access to Mount Allyn including the National Parks and Wildlife Service managed areas of Burraga Swamp.

This bridge replacement is being prioritised and is currently under a tender process to replace. There are no safe alternative routes.
