We are planning to conduct around 55km of slope mower/mulching works throughout Kerewong State Forest from 22nd July which may impact tourists and members of the public.

These roads include works being conducted on Upsalls Creek, Lorne Access, Blackbutt, and Kerewong Roads, all of which provide access to Swans Crossing Campground.

Sections of these roads at times will be temporarily closed for contractors to safely carry out works.

Please observe all traffic signs. These works will take approximately 11 weeks along the roads indicated on the map below.

Please note that Upsalls Creek Road will be closed for approximately two weeks from 29 July 2024 and that a detour to Swans Crossing Campground is available via Lorne Access Road, Blackbutt and Kerewong Roads.

These measures are for the safety of road users, contractors, pedestrians, and forest users.
