A harvesting operation will commence in Lansdowne State Forest from 23rd September until further notice. There will be a significant increase in log haulage trucks along Forest Road, Coopernook Forest Way and Langley Vale Road.

The increased log haulage traffic will impact the roads leading into the Coopernook Forest HQ campground and picnic areas, however log trucks will also be active all along Langley Vale Road and Coopernook Forest Way.

All log trucks will be using UHF channel 24 to advise their location. Please follow all signage and speed limit advice, take care when driving and give way to oncoming heavy vehicle traffic.

Visitors are asked to adhere to signage, barricades and any direction given from any Forestry Corporation Staff and to avoid the harvesting operation area at all times.
