Forestry Corporation of NSW wishes to provide visitors to the Old Camp Arboretum at Sunny Corner State forest of the following update.

During the period June 2022 to December 2022, the pine plantation area immediately to the north of Old Camp Arboretum (see map) will be harvested and replanted and this will impact (from time to time) on the availability of Old Camp for visitors and campers.

Forestry Corporation manages State forest to balance recreational and environmental outcomes as well as renewable timber production. In order to ensure the safety of workers and visitors, at times the availability of our recreational facilities are limited.

Forestry Corporation understands the value of these areas, including Old Camp Arboretum to our community and will limit the time access is restricted.

When these areas are restricted, Forestry Corporation will clearly sign post (see example of road closed signage) the area and make updates online.
