Mountain biking in Wingello State Forest

Sadly, much of the Wingello Forest Trails network was destroyed during the 2019–20 Black Summer bushfires. However, after much work by Highland Trails, the first stage of Wingello Forest Trails was opened in 2023 with more to be opened over time. We recommend checking the Highland Trails website for the latest information.

Highland Trails is an incorporated club. The club manages and maintains Wingello State Forest MTB trails.

Types of trails: XC

Length: Around 8 km of trails

Trail head access: The trailhead is at the entrance to 'Princess's Revenge' off Gap Road. Take Caoura Road heading south and turn left onto Burnt Hut Road. Gap Road is a right hand turn off this road.
