Bom Bom State Forest MTB trails
Mountain biking in Bom Bom State Forest
Bom Bom MTB trails offer 87 trails in Bom Bom State Forest, incorporating around 30 km of flowing easy single track with some adjoining fire roads.
Almost all trails are aimed at the beginner and designed so that the faster you go the more technical they get. Trail surface is a mix of hard pack and pea gravel, sure to keep the rider alert!
Note that Bom Bom State Forest soils become extremely muddy after rain, so a few days of drying after rainfall is recommended.
The Grafton Cycle Club manages and maintains Bom Bom MTB trail network under a Forest Permit with Forestry Corporation of NSW.
The essential info
Types of trails: XC
Length: Around 84km of trails
Trail head access: The trailhead is accessed via Boundary Road. Turn left off the highway onto Old Lilypool Road. Travel 2 km west until reaching the last gate on a sharp right hand bend. There you will see an open gate and cattle grid entering Bom Bom State Forest. Follow the dirt road (Boundary Road) for 200m.
NOTE: Trailforks are a third-party provider with a crowd-sourced MTB trail database. We recommend checking with the mountain bike club forest permit holder below before visiting any State forest MTB trail network.
