Glenwood State Forest is approximately 15km west of Orange along Cargo Rd. It is adjacent to the Mount Canobolas Conservation Area in the east and Canobolas State Forest to the south. Most of Glenwood is under pine plantation

Mountain Biking in Glenwood State Forest
The Orange Mountain Bike Club operates a dedicated mountain bike track in Glenwood State Forest under a Forest Permit arrangement. The Galinbundinya Trail is the first section to be completed and takes the rider along Boree Creek to the base of the Federal Falls.
More tracks are currently under construction through native bushland and pine plantation to form an extended loop and give the rider a range of levels and forest experiences.
