Coopernook Forest HQ

Forest Headquarters is just north of Coopernook (between Taree and Kew). It is a lovely spot for a family picnic or overnight stay in scenic eucalypt forest. Free electric barbecues are available in the nearby picnic shelter area.

Caravans and campervans are welcome, but please note Coopernook HQ is unpowered and does not offer a dump station.

Tall Trees Walk

This short level and looped walking track takes visitors through the eucalypt forest, offering an opportunity to view local birds and wildlife.

The children’s playground near Coopernook HQ is the perfect place for our younger visitors. Designed to keep your kids busy in the natural environment, this playground offers natural timber features and places to step, climb and explore.
