Forestry Corporation of NSW will temporarily cease salvage operations in the State forests bordering Blowering Dam western foreshore area over the Easter long weekend. This means a limited area will be open to the public for camping and recreation from 12 noon Thursday 1 April 2021 until strictly 12 noon Tuesday 6 April 2021. Visitors need to have vacated the area by this time.

Visitors to State forests in the Riverina this Easter will be able to light campfires and barbecues using wood, charcoal or other solid fuel, with solid fuel fire bans being lifted from midnight on Friday 2 April.
