SCUM trail network: Shoalhaven State Forest, Nowra State Forest and Currambene State Forest
Mountain biking in the Shoalhaven region
South Coast United MTBers Club (SCUM) manage 3 mountain bike trail networks — Coondoo, Superbowl and Butterfly — located just south of Nowra within the Shoalhaven region, across Shoalhaven, Nowra and Currambene State Forests.
Coondoo trail network (beginner to intermediate) is much-loved amongst the MTB community and recognised as offering one of the South Coast's best CX race loops as well as an accessible and fun experience for all levels of rider.
Superbowl (beginner to expert) is home to SCUM's Flow X events and the 'do it all in one' network.
Butterfly (intermediate) is mostly handbuilt and old school MTBing, offering everything from tetchy rock descents to short technical pinch climbs to nice downhill flow sections.
SCUM is an incorporated club. It manages and maintains the SCUM Trail Network under a Forest Permit with Forestry Corporation of NSW.
