Mountain biking in Armidale State Forest
Located just a few kilometres north of Armidale, the eastern side of Armidale State Forest has an extensive mountain bike trail network built and maintained by the New England Mountain Bikers. Trails cater for a range of riders, from beginners and families to advanced.
The New England Mountain Bikers Club manages and maintains the Piney trail network.

Length: Around 21 km of trails
Trail head access: The main trailhead is on the Rockvale Road. Cross the bridge over Tilbuster Ponds and you'll see the gate and trailhead on the right-hand side. There is limited parking near the gate but more on the opposite side of the road.
