Processor

For softwoods, a processor looks like an excavator or feller buncher. It picks up trees left by the feller buncher, removes the branches and cuts the log into different lengths.

For hardwoods, the same process can be used in some situations, otherwise processing is completed in various stages mostly on the dump. Often the tree is cut into logs in the bush, which are then snigged (or dragged) up to the dump where the bark is removed.
