NSW State forests are ready for you
Large groups wishing to use state forests should consult with their local Forestry Corporation office to discuss their needs and a suitable location.
A permit is required for commercial activities and most organised events in state forests - see Permits for activities in NSW state forests.
Forestry Corporation of NSW has partnered with a number of commercial operators to provide accommodation and adventure experiences in some State forests.

Accommodation
Moonan Cottage
Location: 55km east of Scone and 90km west of Gloucester at the western end of the Barrington Tops,

Facilities: Three double bedrooms (two with an extra single bed) and bunk room to sleep up to 28 people. Two bathrooms, laundry, kitchen with electric and fuel stoves, refrigerators, microwave, gas BBQ, lounge room with a fireplace, tank for drinking water, septic toilets, power available. Also contains basic cutlery and crockery for 28 people and cookware (large frypans/saucepans and toaster). Extensive grounds to suit tents or caravans. Concrete BBQ and garage.

Bondi Forest Lodge
Location: Bombala area, 31km from Bombala
Facilities: The Lodge caters for individuals through to school groups and clubs. The Lodge has accommodation for 72 people in twin bunk rooms. There is a shower block and power is available.

Laurel Hill Forest Lodge
Location: Tumut area
Facilities: Laurel Hill Forest Lodge offers eight accommodation units each with its own bathroom, living room and sleeping quarters for between 10 and 20 people.
Bring all your own bedding (sleeping bag, linen, blanket, pillow and towel). Linen hire is available with prior notice.
To cater for groups, there is a separate kitchen and dining complex which encompasses a commercial kitchen and dining area that can seat between 80 and 100 people.
