North Coast Local Land Services and Forestry Corporation of NSW wish to advise we will be carrying out ongoing 1080 poison aerial baiting for wild dog control from 15/5/2020 to 30/11/2020.
Baiting will occur in the following State Forests:
- BELLANGRY
- BILLILIMBRA
- BOUNDARY CREEK
- BRIL BRIL
- COLLOMBATTI
- DALMORTON
- EDINBURGH CASTLE
- EWINGAR
- GRANGE
- KIPPARA
- MARARA
- MISTAKE
- MOUNT BOSS
- MOUNT LINDESAY
- NULLA FIVE DAY
- NYMBOIDA
- RAMORNIE
- RICHMOND RANGE
- THUMB CREEK
- UNUMGAR
- YABBRA.
1080 baits pose a high risk to domestic dogs. All pets and working dogs should be kept under control to ensure they do not enter the baiting location during poisoning operations or muzzle working dogs if they are required to work the baiting location during and after poisoning.
In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.
