Forestry Corporation of NSW has received complaints about wild dogs roaming in Uffington State Forest and, in some cases, threatening forest visitors and their pet dogs.
In response, Forestry Corporation’s staff will commence to lay 1080 wild dog baits within Uffington State Forest on 5 May and conclude the program on 22 May 2020.
The baits are lethal also to domestic dogs and we recommend to anyone concerned to restrain pets and working dogs and to ensure they do not enter Uffington State forest during and up to 12 weeks after the baiting period concluded.
Contact us on 6585 3744 on weekdays from 9:00 to 16:00 for further information.
