Maintenance work is nearing completion on the Forest Sky Pier, with final works expected to be completed with the facility back online by 10 July.
Once the last of the construction work is complete the Forest Sky Pier will once again be available for views over Coffs Harbour to South West Rocks.
The Nyanggan Gapi Café at Sealy Lookout reopens Saturday 4 July at which time the surrounding picnic area and amenities will be available for use.
However due to the construction works, the Sky Pier will remain inaccessible.
Nearby Korora Lookout remains open and has been an excellent vantage point to watch the large number of whales currently heading past.
Visitors wishing to catch whales before the Forest Sky Pier reopens are encouraged to walk the Gumgali Track down to Korora Lookout for the best views of Coffs Coast north to Woolgoolga.
