Forestry Corporation of NSW will be harvesting and hauling logs on a 24-hour basis from Blowering plantation in Bago State Forest from 01/12/2019 to 31/05/2020.
So that we can keep members of the public and our operations safe, we have changed the access to Blowering Dam western foreshore.
The following roads will be closed to public access for the entire period
- Yellowin Access Road from Blowering Camp Road to Snubba Road.
- Blowering Camp Road from Yellowin Access Road to Foreshore Road intersection. Temporary road closures will apply within the harvest area (purple on the map) when tree falling operations are underway.
Public access to the western foreshore will be via a two-way traffic detour on Sturgess and McDonalds Trail from Snubba Road.
Traffic to and from Talbingo will be directed back to Yellowin Access Road from Blowering Camp road along a section of Foreshore Road.
Please adhere to all signage, maintain a safe driving speed and drive to the conditions.
