The Sugar Pine Walk Photography Competition is designed to share visitors’ captured memories of the famous Sugar Pine Walk in Bago State Forest, New South Wales, Australia.
The Sugar Pine Walk was sadly destroyed during recent bushfires and for safety reasons, will be removed. This photography competition aspires to mark the passing of the Sugar Pine Walk and pay homage to destination through our visitors’ images, reflecting their happy time and memories of the walk.
We are inviting you to share your favourite memory of the Sugar Pine Walk with a caption of 100 words or less, including when the image was taken and what made the Sugar Pine Walk so memorable for you.
The Sugar Pine Walk and surrounding areas are extremely unsafe and closed to the public, so only images taken prior to the recent fires will be accepted. No images taken after January 2020 or of fire-affected trees will be accepted.
The competition opens 15 June 2020 and closes on 24 July 2020 at 5pm AEST.
The overall winner will receive a $500 cash prize and the top 50 entries will be showcased in a photo book and e-book commemorating the iconic walk. The winner and shortlisted finalists will also receive a copy of the photo book and digital certificate in recognition of their placement.
