Bodalla Forest Rest Area

A great spot for a family picnic just in off the Princes Highway in Bodalla State Forest near Narooma. Enjoy shaded areas nestled under tall spotted gums, surrounded by a variety of native birds and animals. Caravan and campervans are welcome to take an overnight break here in their travels.
Lake Mummuga Walking Track
This bushwalk begins and ends at Bodalla Forest Rest Area. At just over 2km return, this loop walk takes you through forest to the shores of Lake Mummuga where a comfy bench seat awaits.
Box Cutting Rainforest Walk
Follow the trail through the dense, grey myrtle rainforest of trees laden with mosses and lichens. Bird's nest ferns grow in the dense canopy and a variety of birds can be heard and seen along the walk. The signposted trail leads off from Box Cutting Road.
Wagonga Scenic Drive
A little-used drive along the old Princes Highway, traverses spotted gums and rainforest.
