Temporary road closures near Blowering Dam

Forests NSW is advising the public that there will be temporary road closures near Blowering Dam from November to February 2013 while timber is harvested and hauled from Lund’s State Forest.

Forests NSW harvesting forester, Ben Wielinga, said for public safety a number of roads that access Blowering Dam recreational areas would be closed.“Yellowin Access Road will be closed from Jounama Dam wall to the Snubba,” he said.

“The Foreshore Road will be closed from Jounama Dam wall to Sandy Creek Road.

“Sandy Creek Road will be closed from Foreshore Road to Yellowin Access Road.

“Public access to the western foreshore will be via two-way traffic on Sturgess and MacDonald’s trails.”
