Forests NSW Corporatisation

In May 2012 the NSW Government announced it would make Forests NSW a state owned corporation (SOC). This change took effect on 1 January 2013. Forestry Corporation of NSW remains publicly owned and the nature of the business and business relationships has remained largely the same. The state owned corporation is under the direction of a skilled commercial board and the governance structures have been enhanced to improve the organisation's commercial performance.
